Art has been a central focus in my life since I was a child. Since the pandemic , it has felt even more important. It is healing and life affirming to me. Most of my work has centered around the beauty of family and nature. I surround myself with those things because they bring me joy and actively seeking joy is part of my philosophy for living.

Teaching art has given me a sense of purpose, as I try to share my love and skills with others. It has sparked more creativity in me. My students have given me so many ideas to explore! I am trying new mediums and new ways to use old favorites!

Art of all kinds has always been my greatest passion. I hope to share that passion with you.
